End Table/Night Stand {Sept. 2014}

I found this at a thrift store. I thought it could be used as an end table or night stand.

I painted it in a mix of Annie Sloan's gray paints!

I distressed it lightly and finished it with a dark and clear wax.

Night Stand {Sept. 2014}

I found this night stand at a thrift store and thought it was super cute!

I painted it in Annie Sloan's Pure White and finished it off with dark wax to give it an antique feel!

Night Stand {Sept. 2014}

I purchased this cute night stand at a garage sale. It was already black which I loved because I knew when I went to distress it the black would come through!

I painted it in Annie Sloan's Pure white.

Finished it with clear wax and added a cute woven basket!

End Table {Sept. 2014}

I mentioned in another post that a lady in my area was moving and getting rid of some of her stuff. This was one of the other pieces she had given me.

I decided to paint it in Annie Sloan's Duck Egg Blue. I didn't distress this piece since it has a more modern look to it.

I finished it up with clear wax. So much better with a little paint!

End Table {Sept. 2014}

I lady that I knew in my area was getting ready to move. She knows I redo furniture and making it more modern and up to date. She called me up and asked if I wanted some of her pieces she was going to just give away! I of course accepted and grabbed them from her right away!

I painted this end table in Annie Sloan's Pure White. I then distressed it and sanded it down to get it to that smooth texture I wanted.

I finished it with clear and dark wax. I only applied the dark wax on the top to give this end table a two-toned look to it. The rest of it I waxed in clear wax. In the end the little paint that I had to do made this cute table come back to life and have a purpose again! No garbage here!

March {2014}

I found this really cute unique end table and a thrift store in Sacramento. I thought it had cute character and I could make it more updated and bring it back to life!

I first sanded it which was not necessary since I used Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint and you don't have to prep your pieces AT ALL...that's right, NO sanding! One of the many reasons I like her paint!

The color I used is called Duck Egg Blue. I love this color!

I lightly distressed it and finished it with a wax. I like wax more then a poly. Wax gives more of a matte finish.
I also added a woven basket. I felt it made a perfect home there!

End Table {March 2014}

I found this solid piece at a store! When I saw the adorable doors I knew what I wanted to do immediately! I started on this right away.

Sanded lightly and I got to work fast!

I painted it a color called Dolphin Fin Gray. I then distressed it and waxed it with dark and clear wax. I kept the original hardware because it worked well with the doors.

End Table {March 2013}

Found this beauty at a garage sale. I saw so much potential.

I fell in love with it and couldn't wait to start this project!

I quickly sanded it down and painted a couple of coats of Chalk Paint.

This paint color was an oops paint I found at Lowes!

Once I was done painting I sealed it with a clear and dark wax. Added the drawer pulls and I was done. This beauty was ready for sale!

End Table {Dec. 4, 2012}

I purchased this cute shabby chic end table at a garage sale not to far from my house.

I like dark wood, but could only visualize this piece to be a different color. It just wasn't shabby enough for me being its original color.

I sanded and used chalk paint in a blue color. I distressed and waxed it with a dark finishing wax.

I changed the hardware on it to update it with this cute drawer pull.

Sewing Table/End Table {Oct. 23, 2012}

I found this cute table at a garage sale! Somebody's junk was my treasure!

I did a quick sanding to rough it up a little.

Painted it a pale yellow. Distressed it and waxed it with Annie Sloan's dark wax. I LOVE that wax. Gives that old antique look!

I sold this to a lovely lady for her lovely home!

End Table

Found this cute End Table at a garage sale...of course! I thought a fresh coat of paint would do the trick to make this table pop!

I painted this table with white chalk paint and then distressed it.

I decided to try something new. I rubbed in a dark wax on the table top and a clear wax on the bottom portion of the table. I LOVE how it turned out. It really gave a two-toned look.

You can see the different shades of wax in this picture pretty good.

I am so happy with this table!

Shabby End Table {sides fold down}

I found this end table at a garage sale a while ago. I thought it was so cute that the sides fold down. Seemed very shabby to me...which I love!

I had some extra pale yellow paint left over from another project. I liked the color and decided to try it out on this cute end table.

I distressed it where there were some imperfections to add character! I then finished it off with a coat of clear wax.

I then, added this darling knob that I found on sale. It adds SO much to this cute table!

HELLOOOO...gorgeous! I LOVE that the sides fold down!

What do you think?
